How do I know if my rabbit is a carrier?
Carrier basics: a carrier has one dominant and one recessive version of a gene (e.g. Bb). The dominant (uppercase) masks the recessive (lowercase), so you usually can’t see the recessive color unless both copies are recessive (e.g. bb).
  • Ways to know: DNA/coat-color testing; test breeding to a known mate; reliable pedigree/parent info; or past litters that prove what allele they pass.
  • Use “I don’t know my rabbit’s carriers” if you don’t have proof—we’ll simulate extra litters to cover plausible carrier cases.

How do I know if my rabbit is a carrier?
Carrier basics: one dominant + one recessive allele (e.g. Bb). Dominant hides recessive, so you can’t tell by looks unless both are recessive (e.g. bb).
  • Find out via DNA testing, test breeding with a known mate, trustworthy pedigree/parents, or proven past litters.
  • Tap “I don’t know my rabbit’s carriers” if you’re unsure—extra simulated litters will include likely carrier possibilities.
