How do I know if my rabbit is a carrier?
Carrier basics:
  • Ways to know: DNA/coat-color testing; test breeding to a known mate; reliable pedigree/parent info; or past litters that prove what allele they pass.
  • Use "I don't know my rabbit's carriers" if you don't have proof, we'll simulate extra coats to cover plausible carrier cases.
a carrier has one dominant and one recessive version of a gene (e.g. Bb). The dominant (uppercase) masks the recessive (lowercase), so you usually can't see the recessive color unless both copies are recessive (e.g. bb).
